Jordan Clements
Jordan Clements has been the managing partner of Peterson Partners since its inception in 1995. Prior to co-founding Peterson Partners, Jordan was a partner in a San Francisco Bay area law firm, where he practiced corporate and business law. He holds a law degree from Brigham Young University. He currently serves on the boards of several portfolio companies, including Energy Solutions, Packsize, LLC, FranklinCovey Products and Jetscape. He is also the founder of Children First Utah, a scholarship foundation serving low income families in Utah.
Joel Peterson
Before founding Peterson Partners, Joel Peterson was the managing partner at Trammell Crow Company. Joel holds an MBA from Harvard and is currently an Overseer at the Hoover Institution and a professor at Stanford's Graduate School of Business, where he recently received the Distinguished Teaching Award. He serves on the boards of JetBlue, Franklin Covey and Ladder Capital and on the Advisory Board of Maveron.
Rick Stratford
Rick Stratford joined Peterson Partners in 1999 after working for Hewlett Packard and Arthur Andersen. He holds an MBA from Wharton and a Masters of Accountancy from Brigham Young University. He sits on the boards of ApxAlarm, True North AR, Winder Farms, CheckSum, and Lead Media Partners.
Larry Cook
Prior to joining Peterson Partners in 2004, Larry Cook worked in the mergers & acquisitions group at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York. Larry is a graduate of Stanford University and holds MBA and Law degrees from BYU. He has previously worked in the investment banking group at Lazard in New York and clerked for the Senate Judiciary Committee. Larry sits on the boards of Quality Mechanical, Golden West Sanders and True North AR.
James Nelson - Operations Partner
Before joining Peterson Partners in 2006, James Nelson served for 15 years as a Managing Director of Millennial Capital Partners (formerly Invest West Capital), a private equity firm. While with MCP, he also served as CEO of two portfolio companies. He spent several years with Bain & Company as a management consultant. Jim received his MBA from Brigham Young University. He sits on the boards of Handi Quilter, Mity-Lite, FranklinCovey Products and Codi.
Tony Horsley
Tony Horsley joined Peterson Partners in 2007 after working as a management consultant for Bain & Company, where he focused on growth strategy and performance improvement projects across a wide variety of industries. He previously held strategy roles within General Electric Healthcare and a technology start-up. Tony is a graduate of Brigham Young University and holds an MBA from Wharton. He sits on the board of L.A. Spas.
Rachael Hawkins
Rachael Hawkins joined Peterson Partners in 2008. Previously, she worked in the Global Investment Research group at Goldman Sachs and as a Technical Specialist at Ward & Olivo, an intellectual property law firm, and Radioactive Waste Management Associates, an environmental consulting firm. In addition to an MBA, Rachael holds a B.A. in mathematics from Brigham Young University and an M.S. in chemical engineering from Columbia University.
Grant Calder
Grant Calder previously worked in Deutsche Bank's Investment Banking Division in New York City. While at Deutsche Bank, he worked with structured finance products across various industries including: Media, Automotive, Paper and Packaging, Industrials, and Technology. Grant is a graduate of the University of Utah and holds B.A. degrees in Economics and Asian Studies.
Henry Eyring - Strategy Advisor
Henry J. Eyring is an Associate Academic Vice-president at Brigham Young University-Idaho, with responsibility for on-line learning and instructional technology. Henry attended Brigham Young University, earning degrees in Geology (B.S., 1985), Business (M.B.A., 1989), and Law (J.D., 1989). Henry worked from 1989 to 1998 for Monitor Company, an international management consulting firm based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In 1998 Henry became Director of the MBA program at BYU, a position he held until 2002. In addition to serving as a strategic advisor to Peterson Partners, Henry is a director of SkyWest Airlines.
